Victoria Bekiempis is a New York City journalist focusing on courts and crime. Her recent work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Vulture, The Daily Beast, and more. The Ghislaine Maxwell, R. Kelly, and Harvey Weinstein trials are among the many high-profile proceedings Bekiempis has covered gavel-to-gavel.

In addition to courts and crime, Bekiempis routinely covers breaking news taking place across the U.S. She also consults on various journalism projects, such as documentaries. Before working as an independent journalist, she was Manhattan federal and supreme courts reporter for the New York Daily News.
